Description
We are looking for a skilled Load Tester to assess the performance, reliability, and scalability of our applications and systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure our software meets the required performance standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop load and performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, NeoLoad, or k6 . Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to identify system bottlenecks. Analyze test results, monitor system performance, and provide detailed reports. Work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to optimize system performance. Identify and troubleshoot performance issues using APM tools (New Relic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, etc.) . Simulate real-world traffic scenarios and validate system behavior under different load conditions. Develop and maintain performance test strategies and best practices. Automate performance testing where applicable. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in load and performance testing. Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, etc.). Strong knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and web architectures . Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with scripting languages ( Python, Java, JavaScript, or Shell Scripting ). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with monitoring and logging tools ( Prometheus, Kibana, Splunk ). Understanding of microservices and distributed systems. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
