Load Calculation Engineer - Sites

As a Design Engineer in the wind turbine sector, your main responsibilities will include designing new components such as towers, blades, and machinery using multibody aeroelastic calculation software like Bladed and Alaska/wind. You will be tasked with calculating site-specific loads, including seismic loads, and should possess deep knowledge and experience in using Bladed from DNVGL. Additionally, you should be proficient in managing process automation tools and have a good understanding of fatigue analysis methods and structure dynamics. Familiarity with general analysis software such as MATLAB and advanced programming skills, particularly in Python, will be advantageous. Your ability to work flexibly, dynamically, and collaboratively within a team, as well as your strong communication skills, will be crucial for successful task execution. Optionally, having programming competencies will be beneficial. To qualify for this role, you should hold a degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace) and preferably have at least 3 years of experience in the wind turbine sector. Professional experience in project management related to aerodynamic simulation is desired, along with a solid understanding of dynamic simulations of complex systems using tools like Bladed, Alaska, HawcStab, and Flex5, as well as expertise in fatigue analysis methodologies and structure dynamics. Additional skills in the usage of automation tools would be advantageous. Being a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to changing work requirements are essential attributes for this position.,
