LIVING ELEMENTS Designation: Site Engineer Roles and Responsibility: • Completing the Project within the budget and accomplishing on or before time committed to the customer • Conducting Initial site visit • Assess the site for various design work for the purpose of estimating the work • Reporting “Site test Report ” to Manager( by his initial and signature) • Submitting site “Initial measurement report” to coordinator • Documenting and submitting “Material & Machine Estimation for Installation and Finishing Report ” of each project to Manager (It should not exceed 3-4% of the area material required) • Coordinating material dispatch with purchase and logistic team • Taking care of Site clearance from owners and ensure that work flow smoothly • Estimating the target for completion of project and allocating each day target to labor force and ensure that work completed on time • Conducting “Quality check”which includes Control on manpower(Manpower used for instillation and finishing) Checking Grinding work, Control on material(control on wastage, maximizing the yield of the material without effecting the quality of the floor) Material Used (Report to be generated on room to room basis) Checking installation work as per quality check list given by Manager Checking Finishing work as per quality checklist given by Manager Conducting “Hammer check” after installation • Ensure that “Material return statement” is as per the company format • Organizing finishing team as per the requirement and make sure that work accomplished on time • Ensure that project is accomplishing as per the budget, manpower planning and avoid wastage of materials • Estimating Running cost of site, which includes Logistic and labor charge etc • Responsible for handling and safety of materials at site. Which includes Ensuring that the Installation & Finishing teams are adequately trained to do the maintenance of machines in a safe manner Ensure that machines are cleaned by Blowers, cloths so that machines are free from dust and adhesives. • Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise. • Ensuring projects meets agreed specifications, budgets or timescales • Submitting “Return material summary” of each project to project coordinator • Update “Project Track Report” on daily basis • Submitting “Site Hand Over Letter” of each site to coordinator signed by Manager • Submitting “Joint Measurement Report” to Manager • Monitoring Time management of Installation and Finishing Team • Maintaining and monitoring “Work done sheet” of Installation and Finishing Team • Controlling and should have accurate information on material input and output • Responsible for safe storage of wood, accessories and machines at Site • Responsible for Machines and Materials of the company present in the site • Responsible for approving Logistic and any extra charge of workers and giving it to Manager • Responsible for calculating , approving Labor mandays used at site to help Manager to calculate wage settlements within 48 Hours of completion of project or 27th of each month whichever is earlier • Providing measurement 2 days prior to the completion of flooring Key Result Area: 1.
