Description
- Experience Linux Admin with 6+ years of experiences supporting Linux environment .- Experiences including installation, configuration, upgrades, capacity/resource planning, performance tuning, backup and recovery strategy, promoting process improvement, problem solving, adhering to security policies and managing clusters of DB servers. - Experience is required for cloning production data to development/test environments, and application optimization including query optimization. SAP HANA , SAP BASIS support experiences is a plus and will work closely with SAP team. - Responsible for administering mostly Linux and some windows systems & servers hosted on Azure and AWS- Perform system backups and recovery. Perform periodic tests of backups to ensure success. - Responsible for the day-to-day operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and configuration of Linux servers.- Provide support to the SAP Development and Data teams, and occasionally clients, to troubleshoot issues related to the application, application upgrade as well as the ETL process.- Expand existing AWS infrastructure with industry best practices, considering scalability, reliability, and cost.- Create automation scripts for repetitive processes - Background in basic networking and server monitoring protocols and tools.- Experience with design, implementation, and support of monitoring tools in a complex, multi-platform environment.- Strong hands on experiences with administrating Linux (SUSE , Centos,RedHat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu).- Experience with SAP basis support.
