Role & responsibilities

Linux Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
Perform server patching, upgrades, and security hardening.
Manage users, groups, permissions, and access controls.
Troubleshoot OS, hardware, network, and application issues.
Manage storage, file systems, backup, and recovery solutions.
Automate administration tasks using Shell/Python scripting.
Monitor logs and proactively resolve performance issues.
Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams.
