About the Internship: Are you a passionate and detail-oriented individual looking to kickstart your career in Human Resources within a creative industry? We are seeking a motivated HR Intern to join our vibrant team at Levitate Studios in Pondicherry. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various HR functions, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects that support our artistic and technical talent. You'll play a vital role in supporting our HR operations, ensuring smooth processes, and assisting in initiatives that promote a thriving, supportive, and productive work environment for our animators, artists, and technical specialists in a hybrid work setting. Key Responsibilities: As an HR Intern, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of Human Resources, including but not limited to: Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Assisting with job postings on various platforms (including LinkedIn), with a focus on roles within animation, VFX, and design. Screening resumes and applications, and conducting initial candidate outreach for creative and technical positions. Coordinating and scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring managers. Maintaining the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with up-to-date candidate information. Onboarding & Offboarding: Supporting the new hire onboarding process, including preparing documentation and conducting orientation sessions for new artists and team members. Assisting with administrative tasks related to employee exits. HR Administration & Operations: Maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality (HRIS management). Assisting with HR data entry, filing, and documentation. Responding to basic employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures. Supporting the preparation of HR reports and presentations. Employee Engagement & Culture: Assisting in organizing and coordinating employee engagement activities, studio events, and training sessions tailored for a creative workforce. Contributing to initiatives that enhance workplace well-being and employee satisfaction within our artistic environment. Compliance & Policy Support: Conducting basic research on HR best practices and relevant Indian labor laws. Assisting in ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. What We're Looking For: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Strong interest in a career in Human Resources, especially within the creative, animation, or tech industries , and a willingness to learn. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) . Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to take initiative. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Prior internship or relevant coursework in HR is a plus, but not mandatory.
