Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to drive the implementation and management of our cloud-native platform infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, GitOps, Terraform (IaC), monitoring, and security tooling. You will work closely with architecture, development, DevOps, and security teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable platform solutions. Key Responsibilities Support the development and execution of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform . Deploy, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments. Implement cluster state backup strategies using tools like Velero . Deploy and manage CI/CD tooling and pipelines using Argo CD, Workflows, Events, and Rollouts . Manage container and system-level security scanning using tools such as Snyk and Trivy . Perform system and Kubernetes hardening , including writing and enforcing security policies . Build out and document platform operational procedures , runbooks, and automation workflows. Define and regularly test disaster recovery (DR) processes at the system level. Maintain and document a comprehensive connectivity matrix across environments. Implement and support cluster and system-level monitoring using Grafana , Prometheus , and Uptime-Kuma . Implement log aggregation and management using Grafana Loki and Alloy . Define and enforce capacity planning and auto-scaling rules for infrastructure components. Participate in production support , launch planning, and environment readiness activities. Collaborate in architecture reviews , provide technical guidance, and support infrastructure design updates. Support and manage 3rd party integrations and secure connections . Tooling & Technologies GitOps & CI/CD Tools : Argo CD, Argo Workflows, Argo Events, Argo Rollouts Container Security : Snyk, Trivy Kubernetes & Ecosystem : Helm, Kubectl, Nginx, Istio, Velero Monitoring & Observability : Grafana, Prometheus, Uptime-Kuma Log Management : Grafana Loki, Alloy Support & Collaboration : Jira Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline 6+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles Strong expertise with Kubernetes and GitOps tools Experience writing and managing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) Familiarity with system security, RBAC, network policies, and hardening techniques Excellent problem-solving skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities Certifications like CKA , CKS , Terraform Associate , or cloud provider certifications are a plus
