As a Legal Manager at our company, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks and projects to support our legal department. Your key responsibilities will include: - Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in line with company guidelines and turnaround time. - Conducting risk and gap analysis, preparing deviation reports or memos for internal stakeholders. - Conducting legal research on regulations pertinent to the automotive industry. - Assisting in maintaining legal databases for contracts and other documents. - Helping in developing and updating standard templates for business transactions. - Tracking legal matters and updating relevant departments as necessary. - Managing disputes, aiming for early resolution and preventing escalations. - Strategizing conflict management to minimize risk and cost. - Leading and supervising a team of legal officers. - Continuously managing growing contract complexity to mitigate legal risks effectively. - Prioritizing tasks consistently to align with business needs and objectives. Qualifications required for this role include: - LLB with 14 to 18 years of post-qualification experience. - Strong expertise in contract disputes, including alternate dispute resolution mechanisms. - Exposure to working on legal contracts with different stakeholders, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiations. - Experience working with a corporate legal team providing legal support to internal stakeholders in the line of business.
