Key Responsibilities: Oversee legal aspects of land acquisition , including title verification, drafting sale deeds, lease agreements, and MoUs Conduct due diligence of property documents, revenue records, and government approvals for land deals Coordinate with external advocates, consultants, and local authorities to resolve land-related legal matters Handle civil, criminal, and property litigation including disputes, encroachments, and recovery proceedings Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities when required Draft and vet agreements, indemnities, notices, and legal opinions related to land transactions Ensure compliance with applicable local and central laws related to land (e.g., Land Acquisition Act, Transfer of Property Act, Registration Act, etc.) Maintain organized documentation and legal records for all ongoing cases and land transactions Provide timely legal advice and risk assessments to internal stakeholders on land-related matters Role & responsibilities Experience in real estate is not Mandatory Familiarity with land laws in [your state/region], such as Karnataka Land Reforms Act, etc. Working knowledge of local languages (for documentation and legal proceedings) Preferred candidate profile
