Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions for cloud environments
• Develop and maintain AWS IAM policies and roles to ensure secure access control
• Build serverless workflows using AWS Lambda, EventBridge, and related services
• Integrate and automate AWS services using Python and Boto3
• Monitor cloud environments using alerting and monitoring tools to maintain integrity
• Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges related to AWS security and automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security practices with project goals
• Optimize Python code for performance and maintainability
• Maintain compliance with cloud security best practices and standards
• Debug and troubleshoot issues within cloud automation workflows
• Document automation processes and security configurations for internal use
• Stay current with AWS service updates and industry security trends

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Security Engineer or equivalent role with 7 to 14 years of experience
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, Identity Center, Organizations, Lambda, and EventBridge
• Proficiency in Python programming including debugging, optimization, and software design
• Extensive experience with AWS Boto3 for API interactions and automation
• Knowledge of popular Python libraries such as requests, boto3, and json
• Expertise in building serverless workflows using AWS services
• Solid knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for cloud environments
• Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges
• Ability to design and implement automation solutions for routine cloud tasks
