Lead System Engineer - Security

Role Overview: You will be responsible for documenting chronic issues related to web proxy implementation and ramping up web proxy initiatives. Your role will involve training and mentoring individuals on the team. You should possess proficient and thorough knowledge in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting on web proxies, along with extensive troubleshooting experience on VPN related issues in an enterprise space. Additionally, you are expected to have knowledge of firewall administration and orchestration tools such as Tufin. Expert knowledge of firewalls and SkyHigh web proxy is mandatory for this role. Prior experience in CheckPoint/web proxies in a large enterprise network space is recommended. Experience in supporting large enterprise-level network infrastructure with more than 5000 devices is required. Routing experience in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, along with switching, NXOS, F5-APM, and web proxy certifications are preferred. Key Responsibilities: - Take the lead in outage calls - Own and drive root cause and permanent resolution - Manage change, problem, and request management - Conduct DR exercises - Manage device compliance and vulnerability - Perform device upgrades - Actively participate in audits, pen tests, and security topics Qualification Required: - Optional but advantageous skills include experience with NIST processes - Good to have skills include expert understanding of proxies, familiarity in handling complex Network Infrastructure containing multi-VRF architecture, and knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and AD Additional Company Details: At Socit Gnrale, we believe in the power of people to drive change and shape the future.
