Job Description

KEY TECHNICAL AREAS

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing studies; deliver study reports. Produce Specifications for HV equipment. Witness Equipment Testing Technical responsibility in areas of expertise. Provide guidance to peers on areas of expertise. Customer facing responsibilities. Processes: develop and industrialise solution tools and processes associated with theengineering activities identified above.
• Design Guides. Development: Be actively involved in new developments in HVDC technologies, implementingcontrol and protection solutions and creating / delivering new analysis techniques andsystem study tools in order to provide optimized system study solutions.
• External activities: Represent the business in external events by publishing technical papersor participating in working groups (CIGRE/IEC/IEEE).
• Adherence to company policies and Code of Conduct. Health and Safety: consider Health and Safety preventions, risks, behaviors. Attend EHStraining.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Power Systems Engineering degree, MSc and above.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Two-three years minimum experience in industrial engineering roles.
