As a Staff Software Engineer at Dexcom Corporation, you will play a crucial role in the Data Platforms team based in Bengaluru, India. Your main responsibilities will include: - Building cloud-based, event-driven software systems with high availability, scalability, and resilience within an Agile methodology environment. - Collaborating with the data scientist team to construct machine learning pipelines. - Contributing to software development across the lifecycle, encompassing software design, architecture, code development, testing, and documentation. - Identifying and implementing process improvements, such as automating manual tasks, enhancing data delivery, and optimizing software infrastructure for better scalability and cost efficiency. - Conducting code reviews and promoting best practices for quality control, testing, and code deployment in an agile setting. - Mentoring junior team members to deepen their understanding of existing applications" design and coding for maintenance and updates. - Participating in on-call rotation for production systems as needed. - Ensuring the confidentiality and security of client data.
