Lead / Staff - Kernel Server Engineer

As an Engineer / Sr Engineer / Lead Engineer / Staff Engineer in the Data Center / Kernel Server Team at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in Linux Kernel development with a focus on areas such as virtualization (KVM), schedulers, memory management, and ACPI. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating expertise in virtualization technologies and fine-tuning hypervisors for optimal performance. - Applying solid knowledge of ARMv8 and ARMv9 architecture and its extensions like MPAM, Confidential Compute (CCA), and embedded systems. - Understanding computer system architecture including core, cache, memory models, and bus architecture. - Contributing to board and SOC bring-up, developing device drivers, and working with peripheral buses (SPI, I2C, USB) and memory controllers for DDR. - Utilizing SCM tools like GIT and debugging technologies such as JTAG debuggers. - Making prior contributions to open-source projects, particularly in Linux Kernel. - Applying strong debugging skills and practical experience with ARM-based platforms. - Proficiency in using tools and frameworks for system and software performance management. - Hands-on experience with software development methodologies for data center applications. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
