Lead Software/Data Engineer

As a Senior Software/Data Engineer at CoPoint Data, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining scalable, modern web applications using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Express. Your responsibilities will include: - Contributing to both frontend and backend development tasks across the application lifecycle - Building high-performance, responsive web interfaces using React and Tailwind CSS - Implementing dynamic UI components and user dashboards to support analytics, admin, and user interactions - Ensuring pixel-perfect, accessible, and cross-browser compatible designs - Designing and implementing robust RESTful APIs and backend logic using Node.js and Express - Developing secure, scalable microservices using cloud-native principles - Managing authentication, authorization, and API security protocols - Designing and maintaining efficient PostgreSQL database schemas - Writing optimized SQL queries and stored procedures for data access, analytics, and reporting - Collaborating with product managers, designers, and QA to translate business requirements into technical solutions - Performing code reviews, maintaining internal documentation, and contributing to technical discussions - Troubleshooting and resolving performance issues across both frontend and backend stacks Qualifications & Skills: - 7-9 years of professional experience in full-stack development - Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, RESTful architecture, web security, and session management - Ability to create and manage virtual teams - Experience with cloud-based deployments and continuous integration tools - Familiarity with tools such as Supabase, Vercel, Docker, or GitHub Actions - Good grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, and agile development - Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and debugging skills - Excellent communication and teamwork in a collaborative, distributed team environment At CoPoint Data, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge full-stack products in a fast-paced environment, be part of a collaborative and innovative engineering culture, gain hands-on experience with modern tools and frameworks, enjoy flexible working hours, and have opportunities for growth, upskilling, and taking ownership of solutions.
