Role Overview: You will be responsible for ongoing support and reliability of the LSEG ecosystem, including Platforms, Networks, Applications, Services, and Websites. Your focus will be on providing 2nd / 3rd / 4th line support to the Operations and Project Delivery functions to ensure operational stability and adaptability of the LSEG global network. Your key responsibilities will involve creating and maintaining software automation to ensure the reliability and availability of digital platforms and their software delivery pipelines. Key Responsibilities: - Support the technology lifecycle by designing, building, and maintaining systems - Administer LSEG network services to ensure applications and services meet baseline levels - Monitor network services for availability and identify improvement opportunities - Collaborate with service providers, third parties, and partners as needed - Make technical design and amendment decisions and manage workloads independently - Create, review, and maintain documentation in compliance with LSEG standards - Define lifecycle management strategies for hardware and software, considering capacity requirements - Support the deployment of emerging engineering patterns across development teams - Translate business requirements into technical network requirements through data analysis - Collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously, providing regular updates to various stakeholders - Build and validate technical requirements with a focus on performance, resilience, and operability - Participate in design work in the infrastructure and network domain, offering innovative solutions Qualifications Required: - Rich experience in identifying and resolving network issues end-to-end - Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols, with CCIE certification preferred - Extensive experience in network operations, project delivery, and engineering - Proficiency in network technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, and F5 (at least 2 of these) - Excellent L2 & L3 network skills, including knowledge of HSRP, NAT, MPLS, VPN, GRE, BGP, and OSPF - Proficient in multicast skills, including IGMP, RP, and PIM - Sound knowledge of firewall technologies, including next-generation features and functions - Familiarity with load balancing technologies, including application delivery control - Understanding of network packet captures, tooling, and analysis capabilities - Knowledge of datacenter networking, including Software Defined Networking, Cisco ACI, and VxLAN - Experience with scripting and automation tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform, GIT, GitLab, and Rundeck - Appreciation of Service Management processes, ideally with ITIL knowledge and a service-focused approach - Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written English language abilities Additional Company Details: LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider with a purpose of driving financial stability, empowering economies, and enabling sustainable growth.
