Job Description

As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Engineering team, you will hold a vital position as a key member of a high-performing team that focuses on delivering infrastructure and performance excellence. Your role will play a significant part in shaping the future of one of the world's largest and most influential companies. Your responsibilities will include applying your technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope. You will be driving a workstream or project involving one or more infrastructure engineering technologies. Collaborating with other platforms, you will help architect and implement changes necessary to address issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes. Your role will also involve executing creative solutions for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of problems of moderate complexity. It is crucial that you consider upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and provide advice on mitigation actions. Additionally, you will contribute to fostering a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect. To excel in this role, you should possess formal training or certification in software engineering concepts along with at least 5 years of applied experience. You must have hands-on experience in Network Security and Infrastructure. Moreover, you should have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with F5 Load balancing technologies (GTM, LTM, ASM, APM, AFM)/CloudFlare/Akamai, 3-5 years of experience in Cisco networking technologies and firewall products, proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python and Unix, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a self-starter, organizational skills to follow processes and minimize risks, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills within a large enterprise environment. Being flexible to work off-hours and weekends is also required for this role. Preferred qualifications include experience with forward or reverse proxy technologies, and F5 certifications are preferred but not mandatory; equivalent experience is acceptable.,
