Job Description

You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to test practices and processes to improve test coverage. Your role will involve creating test estimates and schedules, identifying business processes, conducting risk analysis, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage. You will also need to ensure adherence to processes and standards, produce test results, defect reports, test logs, and reports for evidence of testing, publish RCA reports and preventive measures, report progress of testing, and contribute to revenue savings for the client by suggesting alternate methods. To measure the outcomes of your work, you will need to focus on test script creation and execution productivity, defect leakage metrics, percentage of test case reuse, test execution coverage, defect acceptance ratio, and test review efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include participating in test design, development, and execution activities. This will involve participating in review walkthrough demos and obtaining sign-off by stakeholders for test design, as well as preparing test summary reports for modules/features. You will also be involved in requirements management, where you will need to analyze, prioritize, identify gaps, and create workflow diagrams based on requirements/user stories. Additionally, you will be required to manage projects by participating in test management activities, identifying business processes, conducting risk analysis, and ensuring test coverage. You will prepare estimates, schedules, and identify dependencies, while also focusing on knowledge management by consuming, contributing, and reviewing best practices, lessons learned, and retrospectives. In terms of test design and execution, you will be responsible for test plan preparation, test case/script creation, and test execution. You will also need to handle test and defect management by conducting root cause and trend analysis of defects, as well as test planning activities such as identifying test scenarios, creating/reviewing test scenarios, and preparing RTM. Some of the key skills required for this role include the ability to create and manage a test plan, prepare schedules based on estimates, track and report progress, identify test scenarios, prepare RTM, analyze requirements/user stories, prioritize testing, carry out RCA, and capture and report metrics. You should also have knowledge of estimation techniques, testing standards, identifying the scope of testing, RCA techniques, test design techniques, and test methodologies. In addition to the mandatory skill set of ROBOT framework with Python, it would be beneficial to have experience with Selenium using TestNG in Java. The ideal candidate should be willing to work in the client's office in a hybrid model (3 days) and be available for immediate joining.,
