Lead Game Mathematician

As a Lead Game Mathematician at Aristocrat, you will be a key player in the development of innovative slot games across various platforms like Android, iOS, and Facebook. Your role involves translating intricate game logic into immaculate mathematical models and simulations, ensuring a top-notch gaming experience for our players. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build, validate, and document math models and simulations for Aristocrat slot games. - Collaborate with game designers to refine and tune math models. - Ensure timely delivery of games by solving math problems and sharing knowledge. - Develop and maintain well-documented Excel math models and programs in languages like C/C++/C#. - Communicate effectively with game designers and engineers to resolve analytics discrepancies. - Produce technical documents and flow charts to support game development. - Apply strong attention to detail and outstanding written communication skills. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience as a mathematician with a programming background in crafting math models and game simulations. - Strong expertise in Combinatorics, Probability Theory, and Statistics. - Proficiency in Excel and object-oriented programming languages such as C/C++/C#. - Experience with slot game math is a significant plus. - Prior experience in the mobile/web gaming industry is advantageous. - Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and working in product-based companies is a plus. - Ability to build detailed technical documents and communicate complex ideas clearly.
