Lead Engineer(QAD MFG/PRO)

Job Description

Responsibilities: Drive ERP system upgrades and new module implementations. Design, develop, and maintain customized modules based on business requirements. Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of QAD software across production and non-production environments. Manage and prioritize QAD work requests, ensuring timely resolution. Handle QAD Help Desk issues by utilizing available support resources. Lead the consulting team in addressing Tier 1 QAD issues. Create and manage seamless integrations between QAD and other enterprise systems. Develop user manuals and technical documentation. Conduct training sessions for end users to enhance system adoption. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 5 years in QAD system analysis and implementation. Technical Skills: Strong expertise in QAD applications, including implementation and support. Hands-on experience integrating QAD with other business applications. Proficiency in backend technologies such as Progress 4GL. Industry Preference: Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Leadership experience with the ability to guide a team of system analysts and developers. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to process improvements.
