Lead Engineer, Senior

Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. Your work will involve launching cutting-edge products that meet and exceed customer needs. You will collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop software on various platforms for Qualcomm internal chipsets - Work with other teams to determine and document requirements and drive design - Resolve issues reported by internal test teams and customers - Actively participate in the software design and development of Bluetooth Firmware for Qualcomm Bluetooth devices - Develop new firmware for Bluetooth latest specifications and futuristic products in Mobiles, Wearables, IoE, and Automotive markets - Support existing firmware through feature additions, enhancements, and maintenance - Collaborate with systems team and cross-functional teams to deliver quality software following well-established software development processes Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field - 6-8 years of experience with programming languages such as C/C++ - Strong experience and proficiency in C programming (6-8 years) for embedded platforms - Good understanding of any networking protocol stacks is highly desired, familiarity with mobile development is an additional plus - Understanding of Bluetooth protocol stack is an additional plus - Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment - Strong experience working in real-time operating systems for at least 1 year Please note that the above qualifications and responsibilities pertain to the role of a Qualcomm Software Engineer in designing and developing software for Qualcomm internal chipsets, including Bluetooth Firmware for Qualcomm Bluetooth devices.,
