Lead Engineer, Senior - Audio DSP

Role Overview: You will be part of a highly skilled and motivated engineering team focusing on IoT Audio technologies at Qualcomm India Private Limited. Your main responsibilities will include developing audio DSP framework, algorithms, and codecs, as well as designing and implementing audio DSP software. Additionally, you will work on customer requirements decomposition, solution implementation, and provide customer support. Your role will involve adding audio algorithms, developing audio framework, and making technical choices guided by data-driven development. You will also be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams to contribute to project success and continuously improving software quality and performance. Key Responsibilities: - Develop audio DSP framework, algorithms, and codecs - Design and implement audio DSP software - Decompose customer requirements, implement solutions, and provide customer support - Add audio algorithms and develop audio framework - Build processes for high-quality software development - Make technical choices based on data-driven development - Coordinate with cross-functional teams - Continuously improve software quality and performance - Set objectives and goals for the team and guide them towards success - Guide the team in shipping solutions Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computers, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of proven experience in software development for embedded SOCs - 6+ years of team management experience - Proficiency in Linux and RTOS development platforms - Strong understanding of signal processing fundamentals, Audio fundamentals, Audio algorithms, Audio codecs, and DSP architecture - Hands-on experience in audio DSP frameworks and APPS-DSP interfacing - Strong programming skills in C/C++ - Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering experience - OR Master's degree with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience - OR PhD with 1+ year of Software Engineering experience - 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.,
