Lead Data Science

Role Overview: Agoda is seeking ambitious and agile data scientists to join the Data Science and Machine Learning (AI/ML) team based in Bangkok. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging machine learning and big data platforms, processing a massive amount of events daily and making predictions to enhance customer experience and business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Design, code, experiment, and implement models and algorithms to maximize customer experience, supply side value, business outcomes, and infrastructure readiness - Mine and analyze a significant amount of data to discover actionable insights for driving improvements and innovation - Collaborate with developers and various business owners to deliver daily results with the highest quality - Research and explore new ideas that can make a difference Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of hands-on data science experience - Excellent understanding of AI/ML/DL and Statistics, proficiency in coding using related open source libraries and frameworks - Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, and/or Scala - Ability to work independently, lead, and collaborate effectively in a team - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working in a multicultural environment Additional Company Details: Agoda, an online travel booking platform, is part of Booking Holdings and has over 7,100 employees from 95+ nationalities in 27 markets.
