Lead Data Consultant

You will be responsible for managing the data warehouse and automating reporting processes. Your key responsibilities will include: - **Data Warehouse Management:** - Maintain and optimize schemas in Oracle and Google BigQuery. - Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled procedures and ETL processes. - Perform validations and audits to ensure data accuracy and governance. - Transition Oracle schemas to GCP with performance and reliability in mind. - Create and maintain data dictionaries and warehouse documentation. - Source and integrate new data as needed. - Define and document data definitions, business rules, and quality standards. - Manage code repositories using Git. - **Reporting & Automation:** - Develop and maintain Python scripts for automated reporting, ETL, and process automation. - Design and manage complex reporting views, tables, and procedures. - Deliver ad hoc reports and analyses to support business decision-making and hypothesis testing. - **Project & Sprint Management:** - Use Azure DevOps (ADO) for intake management, sprint planning, and task tracking. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Advanced Oracle database development skills including stored procedures, nested queries, ETL, and schema maintenance. - Intermediate to advanced Python development skills for automation, ETL, and API integration. - Advanced GCP data architecture knowledge and cost-optimized query design. - Experience with Informatica Cloud. - Strong background in data governance, integrity, and quality control. - Skilled in handling and summarizing large datasets.
