Lead Backup and Storage Engineer (L3)

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data backup and storage solutions to ensure the security, availability, and recoverability of business-critical data. As an experienced L3 level Engineer, you will be expected to have expertise in Backup and Storage technologies such as TIVOLI STORE MANAGER (TSM) and COMMVAULT. Your role will involve monitoring backup and storage systems to identify and resolve issues. This includes configuring backup and restoration for clients (VM, DB, and FS), performance troubleshooting and tuning, backup failure and troubleshooting, analyzing system logs, performing system updates and patches, as well as mounting Scratch tapes (PTL) in DC, DR, and Territory for Tape Backup and VTL Tape Reclamation and Mounting VTL Scratch Tapes. You will also be responsible for monitoring Backup Schedules (Client and Admin Jobs), monitoring the Data Domain Replication, and collaborating with other IT teams to address issues that may impact system performance. Your expertise at the L3 level will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of backup and storage systems to meet the organization's data security and availability requirements.,
