Lead Backend Developer(Nodejs)

As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with other team members including Software Engineers and Data Scientists to ensure the delivery of high-quality code by conducting code reviews. You will work closely with the Client Engineering team to define, deliver, and implement new features for the backend services and platform. In addition, you will be responsible for providing real-time support and troubleshooting for production incidents. It is essential to establish and reinforce engineering best practices while also suggesting and implementing process improvement ideas to enhance team efficiency and productivity. Your expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Git, AWS, Jest, Postman, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Jenkins will be crucial for this role. Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture principles such as REST/Swagger/OpenAPI is also required. Hands-on coding experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, deploying to cloud ecosystems (preferably AWS), and designing APIs following REST principles are key skills needed for this position. Experience in backend service engineering in a production environment, including maintaining releases, CI/CD pipelines, Docker images, and Linux scripting, will be beneficial. The tech stacks that will be utilized include TypeScript, Node.js, RESTful APIs, Postman, AWS Client Libraries, Node.js, Docker, TypeScript, Linux, Jest, and PostgreSQL. This is a full-time position with benefits such as provided food, health insurance, and Provident Fund. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, and the preferred education requirement is a Bachelor's degree. Candidates with at least 6 years of programming experience and a total of 6 years of work experience are preferred for this role. The work location is in person.
