As a Sheet Metal Laser Cutting Machine Operator, your role involves operating and maintaining laser cutting equipment to cut sheet metal with precision and quality output. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance checks on laser cutting machines, which includes cleaning lenses, replacing worn parts, and checking system performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or cutting errors to minimize downtime. - Ensure the safe operation of equipment by addressing any mechanical or technical issues that may arise. - Set up and configure sheet metal laser cutting machines by loading materials, adjusting machine parameters, and aligning workpieces based on design specifications. - Input cutting programs and manage job queues in the machine's software to ensure accurate cuts according to design files. - Adjust machine settings for different types of sheet metal and thicknesses, such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
