Laproscopic Assistant

You will be working as a full-time Laparoscopic Assistant at Shanthi Gynec Hospital in Jayanagar, Bangalore. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with laparoscopic procedures, ensuring the smooth and safe execution of surgeries. This role requires you to prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, maintain a sterile environment in the operating room, and prioritize patient safety throughout the procedure. You will collaborate closely with the surgical team, including surgeons and nurses, to facilitate efficient laparoscopic surgeries. To excel in this role, you should possess knowledge of laparoscopic procedures and surgical instruments, along with experience in sterilization techniques and maintaining a sterile environment. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for seamless coordination with the surgical team. The ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, particularly during surgeries, is crucial. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or diploma in surgical technology or a related field. Previous experience in an operating room or surgical setting would be advantageous. Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is considered a valuable asset for this position.
