Overview: We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in Python development and a solid background in Battery Management Systems (BMS) or automotive software testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and executing automated test strategies, validating control algorithms, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability in embedded and system-level applications. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python to validate embedded and application-level software. Perform functional, integration, and system testing for BMS/automotive applications, including closed-loop control algorithms. Collaborate with development teams to define test requirements, acceptance criteria, and test coverage. Design and implement test plans, test procedures, and test cases to ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards. Capture, track, and manage defects using JIRA or similar systems. Utilize Test Case Management Systems (e.g., Testrail) for test documentation and execution. Support continuous improvement by evaluating and implementing test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure safety, quality, and compliance in testing automotive/BMS solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of QA/testing experience in the automotive or BMS domain. Strong Python development skills for automation and test framework development. Experience testing embedded systems, control algorithms, and real-time applications. Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS, etc.). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with tools like JIRA, Testrail, GitHub, Jenkins (or equivalent).
