Laiser machine operator

As a Laser Machine Operator, your primary responsibility will be to set up, operate, and maintain laser cutting and engraving machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications. Your role will require attention to detail, technical expertise, and a strong focus on quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: - Machine Operation: - Set up and calibrate laser cutting/engraving machines according to work orders and blueprints. - Load and unload materials such as metal, plastic, wood, or glass into the machine. - Monitor machine operation to ensure proper cutting speed, power, and accuracy. - Quality Control: - Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. - Identify and correct any defects or inconsistencies in the final product. - Maintain accurate records of production output and quality issues. - Maintenance and Troubleshooting: - Perform routine maintenance on laser machines, including cleaning lenses and replacing worn parts. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime. - Report major malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. - Safety and Compliance: - Follow all company safety policies and procedures. - Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards. - Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain production logs and machine maintenance records. - Document any machine issues and corrective actions taken. Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Experience operating CNC or laser cutting machines preferred. - Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. - Basic computer skills and familiarity with machine programming. - Strong attention to detail and quality focus. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
