Labour Room Staff Nurse

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse for the Labour Room to join our obstetrics and maternity care team. The ideal candidate should have clinical expertise in handling normal deliveries, assisting with cesarean sections, and providing compassionate care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-natal, intra-natal, and post-natal care to mothers
• Monitor maternal and fetal health during labour
• Assist obstetricians during deliveries and minor procedures
• Prepare and maintain labour room equipment and supplies
• Monitor and manage newborn resuscitation and early neonatal care
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and records as per NABH standards
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and biomedical waste protocols

Eligibility Criteria:

• GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute
• Must be registered with the State Nursing Council
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Labour Room
• Knowledge of emergency protocols, partograph monitoring, and patient safety practices
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and handle emergencies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
