The Legal Associate Fintech and Regulatory position in Gurugram, India requires a candidate with a minimum of 3 years PQE in Fintech or Financial Services. As a skilled Fintech Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing legal, compliance, and regulatory support. Your role will involve interpreting and applying RBI regulations, data privacy norms, KYC/AML laws, IT Act, and other relevant laws to ensure compliance across our products and operations. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, tracking regulatory updates from RBI, SEBI, NPCI, and advising internal stakeholders through concise memos. You will also be required to liaise with regulators, legal advisors, or compliance consultants as necessary and assist in the development and updating of internal policies such as privacy, data governance, terms of use, and grievance redressal. The ideal candidate should possess an LL.B. degree from a recognized Indian university with a minimum of 12 years PQE in fintech, banking/finance law, or technology law. Essential skills include a comprehensive understanding of RBI regulations, digital lending norms, IT Act, and other financial laws, along with proficiency in legal drafting, research, and communication. Additionally, adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment are crucial for this role.
