Job Title: Compliance Specialist Location: Defence Colony, New Delhi About Us: Kronicle is a platform provider for AI/ML enabled legal research, compliance and regulatory support services. The Kronicle platform aids and assists organisations in respect of their contracting functions, contract storage, caselaw research, CLM, practice management, dispute resolution and case analytics. Kronicle leverages its tools and content from proprietary legal and compliance data sources to enhance, fast-track and improve executive education, risk analysis and due diligence assignments. As Compliance Manager , you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our compliance framework to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will work cross-functionally with legal, product, engineering, data privacy, and customer success teams to embed compliance into our products, operations, and client engagements. Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, including data protection (GDPR, CCPA), anti-money laundering (AML), legal ethics standards, and other jurisdiction-specific regulations. Policy Development: Draft, implement, and maintain internal compliance policies, procedures, and training programs. Risk Management: Conduct compliance risk assessments, identify gaps, and recommend mitigations across business functions and product lifecycles. Audit & Monitoring: Manage internal audits, third-party risk assessments, and assist in external regulatory inspections or certifications (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001). Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies as needed. Collaboration: Act as the compliance liaison between legal, engineering, sales, and customer teams to support client-facing compliance requirements (e.g., DPAs, regulatory inquiries). Requirements Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Risk Management, or a related field; JD or relevant legal/compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP, CAMS, CIPP/E) a plus. 2+ years’ experience in a compliance, legal, or risk management role, preferably within a tech or legal services environment. Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations, risk frameworks, and legal industry compliance challenges. Experience with SaaS or B2B technology platforms and relevant compliance obligations. Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and navigate complex regulatory environments.
