Egen values a culture of learning, problem-solving, and innovation to achieve fast and effective results. **Key Responsibilities:** - Joining a team of insatiably curious data engineers, software architects, and product experts who strive for excellence - Working with a tech stack based on Java8 (Spring Boot), Kotlin (Android), and RESTful microservices - Building and deploying cloud-native Kubernetes microservices integrated with scalable technologies like Kafka in Docker container environments - Collaborating in an agile process to deliver high-value data-driven applications and product packages efficiently **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology and Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and cloud technologies - Experience in delivering production-ready code with Kotlin and Android libraries - Proficiency in unit and integration testing of Kotlin applications - Experience with RESTful APIs, microservice architecture, SQL databases, NoSQL databases, and writing abstraction layers for database communication **Nice to have's (but not required):** - Exposure to other JVM programming languages - Experience working with Docker container environments and Kafka - Familiarity with Cloud Environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure Egen may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, including reviewing applications and analyzing resumes.
