Job Title: Sales Accountant cum MIS Coordinator Department: Sales Reporting To: General Manager – Sales Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Accountant cum MIS Coordinator who will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales accounting activities, generating accurate MIS reports, and supporting the sales team with data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between sales and finance, ensuring transparency, timely reporting, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Sales Accounting: Record and reconcile daily sales transactions, invoices, and credit notes. Maintain party-wise ledgers and track outstanding receivables. Monitor dispatch vs. invoice reconciliation. Coordinate with the sales team for timely collection and payment status. Ensure proper documentation of claims, returns, and scheme discounts. MIS Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports (primary & secondary). Generate performance dashboards – depot-wise, area-wise, and SKU-wise. Support sales managers with customized data reports for reviews and planning. Track dealer/distributor schemes, claims, and incentive performance. Coordination & Support: Serve as the point of coordination between sales, accounts, and dispatch teams. Assist in budget planning, target setting, and monthly forecasting. Ensure compliance with internal control systems and audit requirements. Maintain and update master data for SKUs, price lists, and discount structures. Key Skills Required: Strong command over Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, etc.), and MIS tools. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Strong coordination and communication ability. Ability to work under deadlines and handle multi-location data. Knowledge of GST, basic accounting principles, and commercial documentation. Qualification & Experience: Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance or similar) Experience: 2–4 years in a similar role, preferably in FMCG or Distribution-led organizations. Compensation: 15,000 - 20,000 pm (depending on experience)
