ABOUT THE INDIA SCHOOLS TEAM In line with our focus on reaching the underserved, we partner with government school systems to improve student learning outcomes by enabling teachers and students to optimally utilize the tools and resources on the Khan Academy platform. From our government partnerships, we reached 1.2 million learners last year, partnering with 8,500+ schools across various states. Our goal is to expand our scale to reach over five million learners in three years. The Schools Team works in a lean and collaborative way with our government partners, developing strong implementation plans and providing support at every step of the way. We learn and constantly iterate by gathering feedback and through data-backed insights and efficacy studies. With a small team, we have managed to reach 21,000+ teachers and 1.2 million learners across various states. ABOUT THE ROLE As part of our government programs, we support teachers and teacher mentors through training sessions, resources, webinars, and by enabling peer-to-peer sharing. The Schools Team is looking to bring an on-board Training Specialist to design and deliver professional development initiatives for teachers, teacher mentors, and administrators as part of the team’s work with different government partners. This is a twelve-month contract-based role. About The Role Khan Academy India is looking for a passionate individual to join our growing Schools Team as a Program Associate (PA) to support our programme with the Odisha government school system. The PA will be based in Odisha. In this role, you will be working with the Senior Program Lead and the Project Lead and will be responsible for driving the implementation of the Khan Academy programme in the state, in collaboration with the Odisha Education Department. You will also work closely with Khan Academy India’s Content team, Partner Operations, Teacher Professional Development, and Data and Efficacy teams to ensure high-quality implementation of our programme. Your Key Responsibilities Will Be To Support programme implementation: Support the implementation of the Khan Academy learning platform across the government schools. Manage relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with administration officials which include nodal officers, state resource persons, district-level officers, and block-level officers. ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Data Analyst to drive the creation of various reports and data views that are important to run the programme. We are looking for someone who is proficient in working with Google Sheets/MS Excel, is passionate about working with data and obsessed with presenting valuable data-based insights. The individual will be responsible for regularly maintaining all data trackers used to guide our decisions during programme implementation. They will work closely with the rest of the members of the schools team to understand the requirements and create data-views that can help empower the schools team members for internal or external meetings. About The Role We are looking for a thoughtful, analytical, and mission-driven Content Manager – Insights to join our Content team. This role will work across content verticals with a focus on math and science education including localisation , supporting strategy, content quality, and insights generation for student learning. The ideal candidate will have strong instructional instincts, experience working with educational content, and the potential to lead a growing portfolio over time. Key Responsibilities Work with the academic team to analyze student learning data, mastery patterns, and content gaps, especially in the mathematics and science domain. Support and manage content quality reviews across math and science topics (Grades 6–12), ensuring alignment to curriculum standards. Collaborate with curriculum leads to develop insights and inform strategic decisions around content production. Own small-scale content projects from end to end – from planning to execution and measurement. Engage with teachers through the implementation team to identify key problem areas and content impact. Build systems and documentation that make our content development process more efficient and scalable. Maintain a strong lens on impact, equity, and quality, particularly for government school learners. What You Bring 5–7 years of experience in education management, content development, consulting, or data/insights roles. Strong working knowledge of secondary school mathematics and science (ideally up to Grade 10 or 12). Excellent analytical and communication skills – ability to turn data into actionable insights. Experience managing projects with cross-functional collaboration. Comfort with ambiguity and a strong bias to action – you’re energized by solving hard problems that matter.
