Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and grow the business across Frozen and Ambient food categories. The role involves handling key marketplace accounts, driving sales, improving product availability, managing commercial relationships and expanding market presence across India.

The ideal candidate should have strong FMCG/food industry experience with exposure to Frozen and Ambient products, along with Q-Commerce, Modern Trade and General Trade channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage national sales and business growth across Q-Commerce marketplaces.
• Handle key account relationships and coordinate with central category and buying teams.
• Drive sales, product listings, pricing, promotions and visibility across marketplaces.
• Manage product availability, inventory, order fulfilment and stock replenishment.
• For frozen products, ensure cold chain compliance, temperature-controlled logistics and freezer availability.
• Monitor stock levels, product ageing, expiry risks and FEFO inventory practices.
• Drive distribution expansion across cities, dark stores and new markets.
• Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, warehouse and field sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns and monitor their business performance.
• Analyse sales trends, product performance, availability and forecast requirements.
• Prepare regular sales reports and business performance reviews.
• Support new product launches and expansion across Q-Commerce, Modern Trade and General Trade channels.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–8 years of experience in FMCG / Food & Beverage sales or key account management.
• Experience in both Frozen and Ambient food categories is required.
• Strong exposure to Q-Commerce marketplaces and e-commerce account management.
• Experience handling Modern Trade and General Trade channels.
• Good understanding of cold chain logistics, temperature-controlled storage and frozen product handling.
• Experience managing marketplace listings, promotions, inventory and commercial negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of sales planning, forecasting and distribution management.
• Advanced Excel and experience working with sales dashboards and analytics.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Industry Background: FMCG, Food & Beverage, Frozen Foods, Ready-to-Eat Foods, Dairy, Packaged Foods and Food Distribution.

Pay: ₹550,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
