Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Team Leader retired person DCF GUJRAT PHD specializing in Forestry, Botany, and Zoology to join our dynamic environmental management team. In this pivotal role, you will lead initiatives focused on ecological restoration, landscape maintenance, and tree care within diverse natural habitats. Your leadership will drive the success of conservation projects, ensuring sustainable practices while overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on ecological preservation and habitat enhancement through innovative forestry and zoological techniques. Duties Lead and supervise field teams engaged in landscape maintenance, landscaping, and ecological restoration projects to ensure high-quality execution. Oversee tree care activities including tree trimming, pruning, and health assessments utilizing hand tools, power tools, GPS devices, and GIS technology for precise planning and data collection. Coordinate construction activities related to habitat development and infrastructure improvements, ensuring safety standards are met. Manage maintenance schedules for equipment such as heavy machinery, hand tools, and power tools to optimize operational efficiency. Conduct data collection on flora and fauna populations using GPS and GIS tools to monitor ecological progress and inform restoration strategies. Supervise heavy lifting tasks and ensure proper use of safety protocols during physical activities involving lifting or moving large materials or equipment. Facilitate training sessions for team members on tree care techniques, landscaping best practices, and the safe operation of construction tools. Collaborate with conservation specialists to develop sustainable land management plans that incorporate ecological restoration principles. Qualifications Proven supervising experience in forestry, landscaping, or ecological restoration environments with a strong leadership record. Extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance, horticulture, tree care, and land management practices. Familiarity with GIS software, GPS technology, and data collection methods relevant to ecological projects. Hands-on experience with construction activities involving heavy lifting, power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery operation. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and long periods of outdoor work under varying weather conditions. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent preferred for transporting equipment or materials as needed. Strong understanding of ecological restoration processes along with experience in habitat enhancement projects. Excellent communication skills to effectively supervise teams and coordinate with project stakeholders.
