In this role, you will be part of the Foundational Products group within the SAP Enterprise Platform Organization at Ford. Your primary responsibility will be to provide API Enablement and Enhancements development services using SAP ABAP programming and BTP. **Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents; Assist in defining and documenting SAP Best Practices. - Design, implement, document (TDD), and test solutions in an innovative environment with openness to new technologies. - Analyze business operations to validate requirements and scope, suggest process improvements, and assist in effort estimation. - Develop, test, debug, implement, maintain, and document ABAP code used in RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows). - Perform SAP ABAP/S4 programming for generating Reports, Enhancements, Conversion Programs, data loading into SAP, data modification, integration of SAP/Non-SAP using RFC, ALE/IDOCs, Webservices/Proxies, OData APIs using RAP, Output Programming using Smart forms, Adobe Forms, OOABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, and Fiori. - Hands-on experience with SAP BTP. - Exposure and deep understanding of Business Application Studio, GitHub, and Cloud Foundry/Kyma runtime for development tasks. - Implement SAP BTP cloud deployment processes and DevOps practices. - Utilize SAP BTP services and components such as Integration Suite, Connectivity, XSUAA, EventMesh, Scheduler, etc. - Knowledge of Clean Core Principles and Experience. **Qualifications:** - 3-6 years of experience with SAP ABAP/S4 development. - Minimum 2 full SAP life cycle S/4 implementations experience. - Experience with programming in SAP ABAP/S4, OOABAP, RICEFW, Fiori, HANA, ODATA using RAP, CDS, Adobe Forms. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Effective team player working with Onsite and Offshore teams. - Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as well as software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Iterative, Waterfall, etc.). - Good functional knowledge of Finance, Purchasing, and Warehouse Logistics Modules (MM/FI/Ariba/EWM).
