Junior Software Engineer (Backend-Java)

As a seasoned Java Technical Architect at retailcloud, you will take the lead in designing and developing large-scale backend systems to ensure the reliability and scalability of our platform. You will play a crucial role in driving architectural innovation, mentoring developers, and shaping the future of our technology stack. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development and maintenance of backend services using Java & Spring Boot, designing and building RESTful APIs, integrating them with databases, and working on bug fixes, enhancements, and feature implementations. Additionally, you will explore AI-driven coding tools to enhance productivity and efficiency, collaborating closely with senior engineers for guidance, and understanding business and technical requirements by working with cross-functional teams. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, along with a strong foundation in Java, OOP, Data Structures & Algorithms. Basic understanding of Spring Boot & REST APIs, exposure to SQL databases, willingness to learn new technologies, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication are essential.
