As a Software Engineer at Indegene, you will have the opportunity to work on technical innovation and collaborate with healthcare clients on various projects. Here are the key responsibilities for this role: - Work on various client-based solutions and develop proof of concepts (POCs) while integrating them into products as assigned. - Possess the ability to switch between programming languages as required, with a primary focus on languages such as Python and NodeJS. - Have hands-on experience with databases like MySQL, MongoDB, and familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular, KnockoutJS, and client-side JavaScript. - Develop working knowledge of web scripting languages such as JSP, PHP, ASP, and web servers like Nginx, Apache, Tomcat, and IIS. - Gain expertise in tools such as Docker, Virtual Machines, AWS EC2, Git, and SVN. - Knowledge of Machine Learning and data analytics is considered an added advantage. - Break down requirements and estimate effort to deliver projects within specified timelines. - Collaborate with designers and usability experts to ensure an excellent client-side user experience. - Participate actively in testing, support, and maintenance activities. - Work closely with team members to blend content with creative analytics for product development. - Create and maintain necessary documentation. - Show enthusiasm for learning different therapy areas and product life-cycle phases. Qualifications Required: - Education: BE/Btech/Dual Degree with a specialization in CS/IT or Circuit branches. - Work Environment: Willingness to work in a Global Working Model. Preferred Skills: - Strong written and verbal English communication and presentation skills. - Working knowledge of NodeJS. - Understanding of design principles for secure and scalable applications.
