About the Opportunity

We are looking for Sales professionals to drive B2B business development and sales of specialised plastic pipe machinery and equipment across India.

The role will involve developing relationships with plastic pipe manufacturers, identifying new business opportunities, understanding customer requirements, presenting suitable technical solutions and managing the sales process through to order closure.

We are open to hiring two Junior/Executive-level sales professionals or a combination of one Junior and one Senior sales professional.

The opportunity involves representing established European technology and machinery solutions used in the plastic pipe manufacturing industry, including extrusion-related and downstream machinery/equipment.

The role offers exposure to plastic pipe manufacturers across India and requires someone who can combine technical understanding with strong B2B sales and relationship-building skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales

• Identify and develop new customers in the plastic pipe manufacturing industry.
• Generate enquiries through market research, networking, references and customer visits.
• Develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.

Customer & Technical Sales

• Visit plastic pipe manufacturers and understand their production and machinery requirements.
• Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate machinery solutions.
• Conduct product presentations and technical discussions.
• Prepare and follow up on techno-commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with technical teams to address customer requirements.

Sales Cycle Management

• Manage enquiries from initial contact through proposal, negotiation and order closure.
• Follow up consistently with prospective customers.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and CRM records.
• Participate in commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate internally to ensure smooth execution after order confirmation.

Market & Relationship Development

• Build long-term relationships with plastic pipe manufacturers and key decision-makers.
• Develop new accounts as well as existing customer relationships.
• Identify new markets, customers and applications.
• Track competitor activity and market opportunities.
• Participate in exhibitions, industry events and customer meetings.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate with technical, application, production and management teams.
• Ensure clear communication between customers and internal teams.
• Support customers throughout the sales and order execution process.

Candidate ProfileExperience

Junior / Sales Executive: 2–5 years of B2B Industrial / Technical Sales experience.

Senior Sales Executive: 5–8+ years of B2B Industrial / Capital Equipment Sales experience.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience selling:

will be preferred.

Experience selling directly to plastic pipe manufacturers will be a strong advantage.

Strong B2B industrial sales professionals from related machinery/capital-equipment industries may also be considered.

Education

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
