Junior QA Engineer OTT Platform (Web/Mobile/CTV)

Role Overview: As a Junior QA Engineer at Ventuno, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and high-performance experience for OTT clients. Your responsibilities will include testing OTT apps across various platforms such as Web, Android/iOS Mobile, and Smart/Connected TVs. You will conduct manual and exploratory testing to guarantee app performance, usability, and stability. Additionally, you will be responsible for API testing using tools like Postman, creating detailed test cases, and maintaining test reports. Collaboration with developers, designers, and the product team is essential to ensure the quality of services. You will also be involved in regression and smoke testing activities during release cycles. Key Responsibilities: - Test OTT apps across platforms like Web, Android/iOS Mobile, and Smart/Connected TVs - Conduct manual and exploratory testing to ensure app performance, usability, and stability - Perform API testing using tools like Postman - Create detailed test cases and maintain test reports - Collaborate with developers, designers, and the product team - Participate in regression and smoke testing activities during release cycles - Report, document, and track issues using Jira or Notion Qualifications Required: - 1-3 years of hands-on QA experience in manual testing preferred - Freshers with substantial project or internship experience are encouraged to apply - Experience in testing Web and Mobile Apps, especially on iOS/Android platforms, beneficial - Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman - Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies - Attention to detail and strong communication skills - Familiarity with Selenium or scripting languages such as Python/JavaScript a plus - Exposure to OTT apps on platforms like Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV preferred - Keen interest in automation and performance testing Additional Details: This position is based in Chennai.,
