Department: Maintenance Location: [Factory/Plant Location] Reporting To: Maintenance Manager / Senior Engineer Experience: 0–2 years Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering Job Summary: The Junior Maintenance Engineer will assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and plant machinery to ensure smooth and safe operations. This is an entry-level role focused on learning, supporting preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities: Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical/electrical equipment. Support daily inspection, lubrication, and calibration tasks. Help identify faults, analyze breakdowns, and assist in root cause analysis. Maintain maintenance records and prepare reports for equipment status. Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with maintenance standards. Skills Required: Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems Familiarity with tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices Good communication and teamwork skills Problem-solving attitude Willingness to work in shifts and learn continuously Preferred Knowledge: PLC basics (for electrical candidates) TPM/5S practices Understanding of hydraulics/pneumatics systems Knowledge of safety standards in plant maintenance Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Rotational shift Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
