Junior Java Developer

Role Overview: As a Java Developer at Inhabitr, you will be an integral part of the core development team, contributing to the design and flawless execution of a world-class product. Your responsibilities will include developing and enhancing software applications, conducting code reviews and training, ensuring the highest quality software through thorough testing, and implementing solutions as per technical documentation specifications and coding standards. You will also be responsible for creating project documentation, coordinating technical issues, and reporting to a technical lead. It is essential for you to understand business rules, software specifications, and designs provided by the technical lead and apply them to your tasks effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and enhance software applications through coding and testing - Participate in code reviews and training sessions - Ensure high-quality software by creating unit test plans and conducting thorough testing - Utilize tools, applications, and processes used for software development - Implement solutions as per technical documentation specifications and coding standards - Create project documentation and coordinate technical issues - Report to a technical lead - Apply business rules, software specifications, and designs provided by the technical lead to complete assigned tasks Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering (computer/telecommunications) - Minimum of 2+ years of extensive experience in Object-oriented programming, specifically in JAVA/J2EE - Knowledge or relevant work experience in Java/J2EE, C++, C, XML/XHTML, or CGI-Python - Strong understanding of Object-oriented programming concepts - Excellent team player with the ability to work effectively in a diverse culture - Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work well under pressure Company Overview: Inhabitr is seeking to build its core development team and is looking for a skilled Java Developer to contribute to the design and execution of a world-class product.
