Job Title – Junior Associate – Accounting & Compliance

Key Skill Sets / Education –

• B.Com / BBA - Accounts Background / Inclination Required
• 0-1 year of relevant work experience in Accounting & Compliance
• Should have experience in Tally ERP9 and be willing to learn new tools like Zoho / Xero.
• Should have knowledge in MS Office and basic computer knowledge.

Job Responsibilities –

• Understand the Scope of Work and Deliverable for each & every client.
• Coordinate within the team on documents and requirements for the work.
• Handle basic Accounting Entries and Transaction Recording for the client.
• Submit work done periodically for review within the team and learn from errors.
• Do basic workings for statutory matters such as Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ESI & PT.
• Do processing for payroll related activities (processing and payslip generation).
• Assist in preparation of periodic MIS and provide inputs to the team on the same.
• Be willing to work closely with the team and support them in work.
• This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Associate at Halbe located in Chennai. The Junior Associate will be responsible for assisting with accounting tasks, ensuring statutory compliance with regulations, providing support in completion of books of accounts, assisting with payroll related activities.

Other Details –

• This is a position that is based out of Besant Nagar, Chennai.
• Work Timings are 10am to 7pm, with flexibility provided after the Probation Period

Gross Salary – Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 17,500 per month, depending on the candidate
