Junior Architect

Job overview:

We are seeking a Junior Architect with 02 years of practical experience. The ideal candidate will have moved beyond just learning and be ready to take on more responsibility contributing to design, documentation, coordination, and site work, while still working under guidance of senior architects. This is a growth role meant to develop your skills and build experience across all phases of architecture projects.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Architecture (B.Arch.).
• 02 years of experience in architectural practice.
• Strong proficiency in relevant software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp (VRay, Lumion, etc.), Photoshop.
• Good understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, construction methods.
• Ability to produce clean, accurate drawings and construction details.
• Strong presentation skills (sketching, diagrams, rendered visuals etc.).
• Effective verbal & written communication.
• Good time management, ability to work on multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail, ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead in preparation of

  design development

  : conceptual designs, schemes, sketches.
• Develop architectural drawings: plans, elevations, sections, details. Ensure quality and accuracy.
• Produce 3D models/renderings and visualizations (SketchUp, Revit, etc.) for client presentations.
• Prepare construction documentation including detailed drawings, schedules, specifications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines: structural, MEP, landscape etc., ensuring design integration.
• Undertake site visits: measure existing conditions, ensure work in progress matches the drawings, help address site issues.
• Conduct research on material finishes, construction systems, local building codes/regulations.
• Assist in client meetings: preparing presentation material, revising designs based on feedback, followups.
• Maintain project documentation: versioning, drawing logs, correspondence, filing.
