As a Junior Accountant, you will support the finance and accounting team by performing daily bookkeeping tasks, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. This role is ideal for someone beginning their accounting career and looking to develop strong technical and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts. - Support month-end and year-end closing activities. - Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits. - Help monitor budgets, spending, and variances. - Provide administrative support to the accounting team and respond to internal financial inquiries. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or working toward completion). - Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS). - Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Xero). - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Good organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with a team. - Minimum 2 years of experience is a must.
