Job Description: As a Jr. Web Developer at Digitera Technologies based in Bangalore, India, you will play a key role in combining the art of design with programming. Your primary responsibility will involve translating UI/UX design wireframes into actual code to create visual elements for applications. Working closely with the Front-End Web Designer, you will bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, actively contributing to both aspects to shape the appearance and functionality of the application. You will be based in Bangalore, Jayanagar 9th block and your key deliverables will include building reusable code and libraries for future use, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, validating user input before submission to the back-end, and collaborating with team members and stakeholders. To succeed in this role, you should have at least a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience. Proficiency in web markup languages such as HTML5, CSS3, client-side scripting, and JavaScript frameworks like Bootstrap and jQuery is essential. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of asynchronous request handling, AJAX, cross-browser compatibility, SEO principles, and image authoring tools. Knowledge of tools like Photoshop would be a plus.
