Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities Safely operate trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes and schedules. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation. Perform basic mechanical maintenance on the vehicle as needed. Assist in moving heavy equipment or materials when required. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Experience in moving, tow truck operation, or shuttle driving is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for basic vehicle maintenance tasks. Familiarity with warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation is advantageous. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.
